Pyrokinesis Pyromancy, or the more fitting pyrokinesis, is the manipulation and/or creation of fire. Using their mastery of the element, pyrokinetics are capable of altering the size, color and intensity (which is reflected by the former) of their flames and are immune to the burning effects of their chosen element so long as it is in their individual control. Skilled pyrokinetics are capable of manipulating their fire more precisely - such as being able to reel an inferno down to a candlelight in a matter of seconds. Water is the natural enemy to fire, while air can be as condemning as it is vital. Electrokinesis A sub-ability to Pyrokinesis, this type of psychokinesis is exclusive to the Gods and Goddesses of fire. Users are able to create, manipulate, absorb and redirect electricity. Skilled electrokinetics can shutdown an entire grid, channel lightning and overload electronics. Against hydrokinetics, these people can be a deadly threat. Using the water as a catalyst, electrokinetics can deliver punishing surges to their more aquatically inclined foes. Hydrokinesis The rival to pyrokinesis, users of this ability are efficient in the usage of water as their element of choice. Hydrokinetics can pull water from any available source, as well as create it on their own. Skilled hydrokinetics may also be able to manipulate water through all stages (gas, liquid, solid). Electricity is the natural enemy of water, however it can be both deadly and convenient to a skilled hydrokinetic. Cryokinesis An advanced form of the above power, Cryokinetics are masters of their icy form. Considered the best, these people are skilled enough to not only change water to ice to control, but they are so proficient in their manipulation of the element, that they can pull the molecules right from the air to bend to their will. Geokinesis This is the manipulation of the earth itself. From the mud at the playground to the stalactites inside a cavern, Geokinetics are capable of shifting the very ground beneath their feet to their will. Older, experienced Geokinetics could go as far as to create a hill right under their feet, but it would take years of practice, and a natural skill. Telekinesis This is the innate ability to move objects via sheer force of will, without use of physical means. Spatialkinesis An extremely complicated and advanced type of psychokinesis, spatialkinesis is the ability to directly alter the spatial dimensions of the intended target, as well as the physical proportions. A grand ballroom can be manipulated into being as cramped as a broom closet, while a tiny mouse hole can suddenly become big enough to hold a human. Visually, these things would remain untouched, but trust that while you wont see it, the changes are there and they can be deadly. Spatialkinetics do not merely give you a 'sense' of being enclosed, but are actually altering the immediate area of their target -be it a cup or a body. This means they can literally crush you without ever having touched you. Necromancy Necromancy is the art of raising the dead to do your bidding. From the freshly buried to the long gone, a necromancer can force their will into any corpse. While all can reanimate the dead, only the skilled can keep intact the abilities the deceased had before death. So, should they bring back a psychokinetic, they will retain their former skills. This makes formidable foes out of proficient necromancers. Umbrakinesis
Total darkness is the natural bane of any umbrakinetic. You cannot cast a shadow if there is no light to intercept. Dynamokinesis Description will be added soon! Oremancy A sub-ability of geokinesis, oremancers are able to directly pull metals from the ground. They can alter the size and shape of the metal to whatever they want. Oremancers are limited to only one type of metal manipulation. Magic Magic is at times like Psychokinesis, and can be mistaken for that, but it is in fact not. Magic usually involves the enhancement of things, or speeding it up. Such as, through magic, one could make a sapling grow into a tree in a few seconds, or heal a wilted flower. The stronger the magician, the more difficult tasks they can achieve, such as making things appear and disappear, teleporting, and making entire buildings collapse. Such acts often leave behind a type of extremely fine dust, often called fairy dust, though not just faes can learn magic. This is really referred to as Caelestis dust, in the supernatural realm. Witchcraft Witchcraft is at times described as Magic within a book, which it technically is. Books, enchanted with a spell, that contain different spells and chants, as well as rituals. But it's not as simple as simply reading it off, as it would be far to easy for humans to get their hands on it and do so. But, the meanings of the chant must be learnt, which are usually in various different Languages, some known only to the supernatural, such as Svphenic, some human, such as Latin. These spells can be memorized, and used off the top of one's head, but it would take a powerful learner, otherwise called 'Witches', no matter the race. It is powerful, because it can be used to summon, raised the death and other things. But first, they must get their hands on the spell, and the meaning. Chronokinesis Chronokinesis is a quite complicated power, and a powerful one at that. Depending on the user's power, they can travel through, speed up, slow down, loop, and freeze time completely. It also requires a higher level to manipulate the time of a single object/person or a group, as opposed to all of time at once, as it takes pin-point focus. Though it can take years of practice, Chronokinesis is a frightening skill, as the very most experienced can age you to death in a second, though the majority don't reach that level in their whole lifetimes. However, any use of the power is very draining, and eternally freezing something, without transferring it to another source of power is impossible. To be added: Dynamokinesis |
